**Update**
Got it back and the only thing noted was the passenger side control arm bushings are worn. I did replace the driver side but it was such a pain in the ass that I let the passenger side go since they didn’t look that bad. He also recommended some aftermarket tubular control arms. Like, no shit. You pay for them and I’ll do that.
For the first time a professional is going to get the “honor” of dealing with the POS Camaro. I wish him luck. Hearing what he says is going to be interesting.

I’ve been thinking about sending my T-bird to a professional to fix the last little gremlins that I’ve been having trouble with. I spent months rebuilding this darn thing, it ought to be running like new now, but there’s something in there that’s still preventing it from working right, and I’m kinda tired of trying to deal with it. Sending it to a professional is my last resort, but hopefully they’ll be able to figure out how to fix it and do it right. Especially because I need this thing to work before I head off to college...

This trip is mostly for an alignment, but once they start digging in I fully expect them to find more stuff to fix. If they do I will most likely let them because the odds of me getting my fat ass in to the garage in hundred degree heat is absolute zero.

College will be held in the living room at your folks house. No rush.

Guys who work on old cars probably (probably!) won’t be f az ed by much, I’m sure they’ve seen it all.

I want to believe that, but I have been working on this one. You never know what I am possible of.

Well, the college has said that we’ll actually be going to... college, but depending on how bad the pandemic goes, you never know... But in the likely event that I do get to go, I’ll need a weekend grocery getter. My T-bird should be up to the task if it would just STOP STALLING IN RIGHT TURNS...

So something in the fuel tank or carb that loses fuel when you turn. Does it happen no matter how much fuel? How much pressure at the carb? Maybe somehow the bowls aren't getting enough fuel and they slosh enough to starve the jets or something. Good tank vent?

Everything embarrassing was ‘done by the previous owner’, I don’t like lying to shops and I know it can make things harder, but what I do to my cars is between me and the adhesives

I thought it was something with the fuel, but it also seems like it might be an electrical problem since it happens very quickly, like the engine is running fine one second and then suddenly just stops. It’s very weird.

Huh. That is weird. Maybe a loose ignition wire that somehow shorts inside the steering column? Best of luck!

I don’t think the other drivers will be terribly happy with me doing a little loop at every intersection where I need to go right...
